Reolink Floodlight as an IoT device could work perfectly with your Reolink cameras and its powerful light emission adds more security protection for your home. Installation of such a device, as we can assure you, won't be a bother as long as you follow the steps below.
Mount the Floodlight to the Wall
Before installation, here are tips for positioning your floodlights:
- Install the Floodlight 2-3 meters (7-10 ft) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the PIR motion sensor.
- For better motion detection performance, please install the floodlight angularly as the picture shows below.
Step 1. Stick the mounting hole template on the wall and drill holes accordingly.
Step 2. Screw the mounting plate into the wall with the upper two screws, and hang the floodlight on the plate.
Step 3. Fix the floodlight in place with the screw at the bottom.
Done! You've installed the floodlight successfully. You may adjust the direction of floodlights by hand.
