How to Set up Auto Tracking for Reolink Cameras via Reolink App

This article is a detailed guide on how to set up auto-tracking for Reolink cameras via the Reolink App. Follow them step by step and set it up by yourself.

In this article, we are going to take TrackMix PoE as an example.

Set up Auto Tracking Type, Method, and Horizontal Tracking Range.

Step 1. Log in to your device on Reolink App and tap to enter Device Settings. Then go to Detection Alarm. 

Step 2. Enable Auto Tracking.

Step 3. Tap Tracking Type and Tracking Method.  

You can decide what to be tracked automatically, and how they will be tracked. 

Notes:

• Different camera models have different tracking methods.

Step 4. Tap Horizontal Tracking Range to enter the settings page. Then tap Settings.

Pan and tilt the camera to determine the left end and right end of the tracking range. Tap Save.

Step 5. Now you have successfully set up the horizontal tracking range. If you want to reset it, tap Clear and repeat the previous step.

Set up Auto Tracking Schedule.

Step 1. Enable Auto Tracking and tap Schedule. You will enter the schedule page.

Step 2. Tap a certain day (e.g. Thursday). Tap on the grid (representing one hour) and tick Enable or Disable. After finishing setting the time schedule, go back to the previous page and Save.

Note: You can copy your time schedule to the other days by tapping a corresponding day.

Set up Time to Stop Auto Tracking.

Enable Auto Tracking. You can decide when the camera stops tracking after the object stops moving and after the object disappears from the camera's view.
