How to Use Google Home as Reolink Doorbell Chime

To integrate your Reolink camera with Google Home and enable doorbell ringing events to be sent to your Google Home device, please follow these instructions:

Note: This feature allows Google Home to provide voice notifications for the person, vehicle detection, and any motion events based on the camera's push settings. Add Your Reolink Camera to Google Home

Step 1. Log in to your cloud account, and then go to the Smart Home page.

Step 2. Tap the Enable button to enable the device you want to add to Google Home.

When the camera is successfully enabled, the button will be shown to Unbind.

Step 3. Launch the Google Home, sign in your account and then Get Started to create a home.

Name your home and click Next to build a connection between the Chromecast and the Google Home

Step 4. After the Chromecast found, check the code shown on your TV and click Yes to continue.

Step 5. Connect the Wi-Fi network you would like to use with your Chromecast, then you can customize a room name, which will be added to your room list.

Step 6. Click the   button to enter the account page, and then tap Settings > Assistant > Home Control.

Step 7. Click the   button, search Reolink in the search bar and assign the room for the camera.

Step 8. Done! Now you've added the Reolink camera to the Google Home successfully.

To test your camera, please launch the Google Assistance and say “Hey Google, show [name of room where the camera is placed] on [name of Chromecast device].”

Enable Doorbell Ringing Event Functionality

Step 1. Tap on Devices, then select the camera for which you want to enable this function.

Step 2. Go to the Settings page.

Step 3. Enable Voice notifications for this camera.

That's it! You have successfully enabled the doorbell ringing event functionality. Now, whenever your camera detects a motion, Google Home will receive a notification and provide the corresponding voice prompt for each type of motion detected.
